Importance of Changing Engine Oil Regularly

The engine is kind of like the heart of the car, no matter what upgrade you made to improve the performance of your car, the engine remained the most important part of it.

Many people have this concept that they can always service their car late and some even overshot by two to three thousands before sending their car for servicing and this is wrong. Many people are not aware that the engine oil that they always change for the engine are to remove friction produced from the parts moving up and down to produce power when the car is in motion. Spark plug is also one of those involved in producing power for the car.

So imagine this, you have problem taking off the ring on your finger, what would you choose to do? I guess most people would choose to take soap and rub around your finger, by doing this it would reduce the friction and thus removing of the ring would be made easier. The same theory apply to the engine when it is producing power for the car to move.

A friend of mine, Julian was driving a Mitsubishi Grandis all this while. Just last month during the end of September, he realised that the car was not producing mileage that it used to be. On a average, a full tank for his car would always be able to run for 450 km before stopping to refuel. The last time he checked, it only managed to run up to 380 before he went for his refuel. Initially he did not think that this is abnormal as the due date for servicing was 3 months back so he thought that the car just needed a servicing. When the mechanic was servicing his car, he was told that his first compressor was totally down and if he was to carry on driving there would be power lost. After the car was serviced, he had a big shock, the car was vibrating as if it was going to explode and it died at almost all the traffic lights that he came a stop to. Other then this, the throttle was not responding as it use too as no power was delivered even when it was floored.

After the mechanic took his car back to open up the engine only to find out that the first compressor gave way due to wear and tear. To resolve the issues that occur he have to change a whole new engine for the cost of over two thousands over dollars.

Although servicing the car might take up quite some times but at least you can ensure that the car is safe to use. Can you imagine that the piston jam half way while you are on the expressway? Dire consequences might occur. To save on money on short term basic or to make sure your car is safe, the choice is yours to make.
